Samsung S24 Launch in PNG
Project Overview In February 2024, I spearheaded the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, a groundbreaking AI-focused smartphone, through Fone Haus, the leading retailer and distributor of Samsung phones in Papua New Guinea.
Campaign Strategy The marketing campaign was designed as an omnichannel initiative, integrating various mediums to maximize reach and impact. The campaign included:
- TV Advertising: Engaging commercials highlighting the phone’s innovative AI capabilities.
- Newspaper Ads: Strategic placements in leading newspapers to target traditional media consumers.
- Outdoor Advertising: High-visibility billboards and banners across major cities.
- Major Event Launch: A high-profile launch event to create buzz and drive immediate sales.
Event Launch at APEC Haus The launch event was held at APEC Haus, a prestigious waterfront venue chosen to symbolize the connection between Papua New Guinea’s rich history in communications and its promising future. Key highlights of the event included:
- Attendance: Over 200 business leaders, influencers, and key figures.
- Interactive Booths: Hands-on experiences for attendees to explore the phone’s AI features.
- Engaging Presentations: Speeches and presentations that emphasized the phone’s advanced technology and relevance to the local market.
Campaign Results The launch was a significant success, marked by several key achievements:
- Sales Impact: Hundreds of Galaxy S24 units were sold through Fone Haus stores across Papua New Guinea.
- Increased Demand: The campaign boosted interest and demand from our wholesale partners, strengthening our market presence.
Conclusion The successful launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series through a well-coordinated, multi-channel marketing campaign not only drove immediate sales but also reinforced Fone Haus’s position as a leader in the Papua New Guinea market. This project highlights my ability to manage large-scale campaigns, coordinate high-profile events, and deliver measurable results.
